I expected this to be pretty good but director Michael Winterbottom's latest film is a boring mess. The Killer Inside Me has a great performance by Casey Affleck but otherwise, it's a miss. 2.5/5

The Ghost Writer is a solid movie. It's not great, it's not bad, it's straight down the middle. You won't regret seeing it but you won't care after watching it. 3.5/5

After seeing the trailer for Case 39, I thought this might be halfway decent. I was wrong. 2/5
