Horrible Bosses, Green Lantern, Source Code

Horrible-bosses-film-poster

Horrible Bosses isn't a film I would have paid to see in theaters but at home, it's a great time. So far the funniest comedy I've seen this year. 4/5

Green_lantern_poster_04

On second viewing, Green Latern was pretty boring. I couldn't finish it, but the extended edition does fill in some plot holes. 2.25/5

Source-code-poster

Saw Source Code for the second time and damn is it good. It will probably be in my best of the year. 4/5

Green Lantern, Your Highness, Hop

Green-lantern-poster5

As much crap as I've heard about Green Lantern, it's quite a bit of fun. Sure it could be better but it's well worth a rental. 3.5/5

Your-highness-poster

Your Highness requires lots of beer or other mind altering substances to enjoy. It I was a stoner it would be great. Since I'm not, it's merely average. 2.5/5

Hop-poster

Hop was great for my 5 year-old daughter but I didn't quite enjoy it. It was really bad. 1.75/5

Open Range, Tombstone, Blade Trinity

Open_range_poster

Beautiful but someone tepid western. The final gun battle is great and the overall film looks amazing on blu-ray. Worth watching if you like westerns. 3.5/5

Tombstone-poster

I never got the love for Tombstone. The acting is crap. Most of the cast feels miscast. The script isn't very good and the directing is rubbish. 2/5

Blade_trinity_poster

It's amazing what time and distance can do for a film. Blade Trinity isn't as bad as I remember it. It's not as good as the first two but it's still fun. 3/5

X-Men: First Class, Take Me Home Tonight, Secret Origin: History of DC Comics

X-men-first-class-poster

X-Men: First Class is a lot of fun. I enjoyed it almost as much as the second X-Men film. 3.75/5

Take-me-home-tonight-poster

Take Me Home Tonight is an 80's John Cusack film done with Topher Grace. It doesn't really work. It would have been great 30 years ago. 2.5/5

Secret-origin-history-dc-comic

Secret Origin: History of DC Comics is a joke. It's basically a puff piece about DC Comics that doesn't offer any depth or insight into the history of the company. 2/5
