Crazy Stupid Love is probably the best rom-com I've seen this year. It's surprisingly fun and sentimental. 4/5

The Hangover 2 might be one of the worst comedies I've seen this year. Just disappointing on every level. 2/5

Tomboy is a crap rom-com from the 80's. Super light on story and totally pointless. It does have great nudity but that doesn't really help the film much. 2/5

Bellflower just shot to the top of my favorite films of the year list. It's almost impossible to describe but it's damn impressive. 4.5/5

Der Sandmann is one of the most unusual rom-com's I've seen and certainly the best one I've seen in years. 4/5

I think being Norwegian or Scandinavia would make this a lot of fun. Not being either, I didn't find Norwegian Ninja that enjoyable. 2/5

You've Got Mail is a disturbing film about a man stalking woman but it's dressed up a rom-com so it's alright. 2.5/5

Mannequin is a goofy 80's comedy. It's not great but it has lots of charm. 3/5

I wouldn't have imagined that The Truth About Cats and Dogs would be the best of the rom-com's I've watched recently. It's a bit cliched but has some charm. 3.25/5
