Margin Call, Adjustment Bureau, Faces in the Crowd, Flypaper

Margin_call_poster

Margin Call is an interesting look into the recent financial crisis. A list cast brings their game. It tends to be a little theatrical but a solid watch. 3.5/5

Adjustment-bureau-poster

Watching Adjustment Bureau for the second time is just as rewarding. 4/5

Faces-in-the-crowd-poster

Faces in the Crowd has an interesting gimmick but lacks a little in the thriller aspect. 3.25/5

Flypaper-movie-poster

Flypaper is a fun comedy but instantly forgettable. 3/5

The Fighter, Stone, In the Line of Fire

The-fighter-poster

The Fighter is one of the best boxing movies I've ever seen. The boxing sequences look incredibly real. Everyone deserves to win awards this Oscar season. 4.5/5

Stone

Excellent performances in a rather routine story, Stone doesn't offer anything new but the actors do great jobs. 3.5/5

In_line_of_fire

I heard some podcasts talking about In the Line of Fire and it made me want to watch it again. John Malkovich does an incredible job the villain. 3.75/5

Demolition Man, Cruising, Resident Evil

Demolition_man

Stallone is having a bit of a career resurgence. Demolition Man is back when he still had a career. It's such a fun movie that it's easy to over look it's flaws. 3.75/5

Cruising_1980_poster

I've put off watching Cruising for years. Directed by William Friedkin when he was at the top of his game, Cruising is a great movie. It's not for everyone as will give you more details about the gay S&M life in the early 80's than you probably ever wanted to know. Rumor has it that Al Pacino refuses to talk about this movie. I don't know why. He's great. 4/5

Resident_evil

I was in the mood for a fun horror movie and Resident Evil is the perfect solution. It's not deep, the actors run from one spot to another and some of the special effects are questionable but damn do I enjoy it. 3.5/5
