Went the Day Well is an unusual WWII film about a group of German soldiers that disguise themselves as English soldiers and take over a small village. 4/5

Women in Fury is a surprisingly entertaining women in prison film. If you like the sub-genre, it's worth a look 3.5/5

Special Train for Hitler works hard to make Nazi's sympathetic. It's a very odd film that isn't very interesting. 2/5

The Danish did several sexy comedies in the 60's and 70's. They were quite explicit. I Tvillingernes Tegn makes me want to see more of them. They are sexy, racy fun. 3.5/5

The Fast and the Furious franchise is one of the most vapid franchise ever created. It's no surprise that Fast Five follows the trend. 3/5

The Usual Suspects holds up incredibly well. It's still a fun thriller. 3.75/5

I'm not sure what happened in Zardoz but it is freakishly odd. I love the 70's film making. 3.75/5

Black Moon is an Alice in Wonderland style story about a girl's transformation into a woman. It's a bit slow and only slightly odd. 3.5/5

I really hate mumblecore films. I'm not sure if Cold Weather is one but it starts out OK, then character's just disappear and nothing happens for most of the run time and the film says nothing in the process. 2/5

I was blown away by Blackboard Jungle. It's an odd movie that every film fan should watch. 4.5/5

Baba Yaga is a tedious grindhouse film that starts off with lots of promise but doesn't go anywhere or really do anything. Still an interesting curiosity from the 70's. 3/5

I love Black Sunday. It's been years since I've seen it, but Mario Bava never disappoints. 4/5

American Grindhouse is a good overview of what grindhouse cinema is all about. It got me to finally view some classic films I've only heard about. The next three films are all featured in the movie. 4/5

I've seen Freaks a few times. For an hour long film, it really drags. The first half is about shows the "freaks" off then the last half pulls in a half baked plot. Still worth watching if you've never seen it. 3.5/5

Nude Nuns with Big Guns is a step up from director Joseph Guzman. While ridiculously derivative of Robert Rodriquez and Tarantino films, he does show a better understanding what made 70's exploitation films work. 3.25/5

Trash Humpers might be one of the worst films in years. Just horrible. 0.5/5

Bibliotheque Pascal provides an interesting take on the issue of human trafficking with a surrealist take. Not sure entirely what happened but it was a good watch. 3.5/5

Probably one of the worst documentaries I've ever seen. Rich white lady takes a moderately talented Thai dancer and brings him to America to become a moderately talented ballet dancer. Yeah rich white people! 1/5

Great documentary on legendary comedian Bill Hicks. A must watch for every fan. 4/5

Putney Swope is a fun,biting commentary on last 60's society. Fans of exploitation films should track this gem down. 4/5

The beginning of the end, Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows is good. I can't wait to see how it ends. 3.75/5
