Lost in Space...more like Bored in Space. So amazingly dull. 2/5

Got the original Star Wars trilogy on blu-ray. It looks amazing and sounds great. Sadly the 1999 updates look like crap. 4/5

Upon second viewing of The Troll Hunter, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much. It has good moments but will drop from my best of the year list. 3.5/5

A Woman, a Gun and a Noodle Shop starts off with a goofy tone and then awkwardly shifts gears and never really recovers. 3.25/5

A Horrible Way to Die has a great idea but due to half-assed directing, it makes it almost impossible to watch. 2.75/5

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane wasn't as good the second time around. It has its moments but it's kind of flawed. 3/5

Page Eight has a great cast but is really dull. 2.5/5

Red Heat starts with nude men in loin cloths and goes down from there. It doesn't really work. Jim Belushi should quit acting. 2.75/5

The Fast and the Furious franchise is one of the most vapid franchise ever created. It's no surprise that Fast Five follows the trend. 3/5

The Usual Suspects holds up incredibly well. It's still a fun thriller. 3.75/5

I'm not sure what happened in Zardoz but it is freakishly odd. I love the 70's film making. 3.75/5

I love Big Trouble in Little China. Every time I see it, it just gets better. 4.5/5

Tango and Cash is flawed but ultimately incredibly fun movie. 3.75/5

I was looking forward to Truck Turner but it didn't really deliver. Below average entry into the blaxsploitation genre. 2.5/5

I'm not sure which I enjoyed more, Capt. America or Thor. Capt. America is really good. I didn't expect that with director Joe Johnston. 4/5

The first half of Super 8 is really good. When the focus leaves the children, the film just falls apart. 3.5/5

I hate the Planet of the Apes film and didn't have any hopes for The Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It might be the second best film of the summer. 4/5

I enjoy a good crime caper film but The Anderson Tapes didn't really work for me. Sean Connery does a good job. 3/5

The Hill is a great man vs man film. Sidney Lumet is an expert with this. Sean Connery is amazing. 4.5/5

The Drummond Will is a decent black comedy so it's worth a watch. Just don't expect much. 3/5

The families of the writers of Casablanca should sue the writer of Barb Wire. The movie steals every plot point from that film. Still, it's a fun movie that wallows in it's cheesy B-movieness. 3/5

I didn't realize how much I love True Romance. It's probably Tarantino's best screenplay and easily the best thing Tony Scott has ever done. 4.5/5

I didn't care for Minority Report the first time I saw it but on second viewing, it's quite good. 3.75/5

Knight and Day isn't great but it is a solid action/comedy film. 3.5/5

Mission Impossible is one of the few Brian DePalma films have seen multiple times and still enjoy. Recently watched Rififi and saw where he ripped off the silent scene in the film. 3.5/5
